Please check out my new track 'System Check (Hixxx VIP Mix)' and post your comments here!!!
this is my recreated VIP remix of brockie and ed solo's system check, enjoy cos this is a real jump up club banger, and this has a "real clownstep" beat in it. Go easy on the clownstep. lol.
This track has been deleted. Reason: cleaning up old tracks

Low start
Hah, nice, the system check *beepbeep* thing owns
:S
I was expecting something omfg-pumpy, flawless, with a lot of power, and got this:
. The idea of the track is very nice though, but the bass+beats are killing me. It's very hard for me to listen to stuff like this, no offence please :>
Nice idea, but 100% not my style. 2/5.

to appreciate this track, you need to hear the original, and i think you should rate stuff on the production not personal taste of style, but honest man listen to the original then compare with that. "system check" by brockie and ed solo

The intro is quite true to the original although the bass goes a little crazy when it kicks in. Pretty good tho, sounds convincing. 3.5/5 (Change the bassline a little)

hixxx test haha that's nice .. like the drop.. basslines are okay.. but you need some background sounds man.. the whole tracks sounds kinda empty.. so put some atmosphere sounds in..
most of the beatbreaks sound exactly like in the original.. the idea of a remix is to make some changes.. right?
Overall I like it.. good effort man .
give ya a 3,5/5

man you really flexed that sub of mine on that one... i think my neibhors might have heard that one... sounds really good though.... im liking the intro...
man that shit is ill..... System check for sure....
man thats cool as fuck
the bass hits real hard and blends really well with everything else that you got going on.. the hats are a little muted out when the bass comes through but it is expected...
your bass switches are really good. the drujms are lined up and your synths are lined up all good..
man this is akiller track i have never heard the original but if your remix is to give nay hint its good...

thanks guys, i didn't intend this to be a "remix" but a VIP mix, so its supposed to be the same sounds but a different arrangement, i am gonna do a "remix" when i get permission from Brockie to do it, then i'll post ya that mix too guys, dont really want atmospheres in it because the point of the track is too be simple and hard not spacy and euphoric, just a real speaker hitter!! but keep the comments coming cos they'll all give me ideas for the "remix"

clownstep? ive never heard the original...if its clownstep then i dont evne mess with it...im a fan of techy repetetive hardstep lol...well the intro is kind of cool i guess...but i cant picture this being played at a club...beat drops...ok this is good i guess...my speakers actually clip here and there (but that might because they suck balls and i mighthave blown them...) the breaks you use are nothing special...simple clown step breaks...(i never understood what makes them special) nthing really drives the track in my eyes...the bass line gets on my nerves after about a minute...levels are good...although there isnt ANY variation on your percusions...no extra hats nothing...i dont know much about clownstep but it doesnt keep me interested...Good Production work...just not doin it for me...and nothing says to me that it would for a crowd...
2/5 track
3/5 production

i got a new track coming withing the day, its half clownstep/hard4step and half normal dnb, but once again its london england style dnb, im not trying to make euphoric drumnbass like most of you guys, honestly guys you really need to go to a rave in london if you havent already, then you will see where my music is coming from

i understand where your music comes from...but drumnbass has evolvled into a lot more now a days...the genre itself has completely changed and sitll yet remained its self...your track is very good...just a little out dated maybe?

The voice generator you used sounds less determined than the one in the original.
Nice effects and stuff in the intro.
Volume of the pitching bassline drops a bit too much in the lowpitched parts. Boost the mid too compensate for this.
Drums are quite nice, bassline has a good groove to it.
But the track lacks depth: it's just the same drums and same bassline the whole time, beefed up with some robotic vocal. You need more than that for a "real" track.
Nice gimmick though, and maybe good enough to drop inbetween two songs, but don't play it too long, coz it's too repetetive.
In some parts the sub goes too low, cut it under 30hz, don't go all the way to 20hz
2/5 for the track
2.25/5 for the sound
