This is something i made as an Ode to the 2 genres i love the most... Trance and Drum'n'Bass...This is by far my favorite track ive ever produced...and most likely my best work production wise...its simple yet effective...Deff check out for sure...
(please comment on levels and what not...i need to do another mixdown i think..) BUT the over all basis of the track is done...CHEERS...ENJOY!

I'm not a trance fan, but I can appriciate what you're trying to do here with the mussssive leads, and the build up style, and I think its dead on, but I'm not diggin the drums at all: shallow and flat sounding, repetitive and I think the little "here the drumma get wickid" thing over and over again is a bit wearing. Sorry man, just being honest - I've really enjoyed the rest of your stuff and the structure and build ups of this song are definitely slick and well thought out and with a drum revamping/re-eq ing this track could be exactly the trace dnb crossover your looking for. Just a side point: honestly now, once you got hooked on dnb, didn't trace get a bit basic sounding? Anyone hearin' me?

Considering that you're a trance fan (as i understood
), i'd say that the styles have been mixed pretty well. I'm not a fan of trance/dance or anything, though this track was pretty pumpin', made me actually want to do something. Some nice fade-ins with the beats too, good job on that.
Overall i'd say that this track is worth listening if you are/were a trance fan and listen to dnb, because this stuff is pretty good.

I love the sound of it very much, really dig this. The synth leads are really well made. Only sometimes I feel like the leads and the drums are a little out of sync, dunno why. As it has allready been said the drums could use more variation, and the drops are very similar every time, work on that some more.
And now for the score: my heart, ears and shakin' booty say: totally love this, so 5/5. My producer-brain says could be better, so 3.5/5. Gonna make that an average of 4.

TnB ohhhhhhhhh nooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
intro is nothin new, appeggiator is rather basic. try muting in a nice rythem to spice it up, get it steppin. Personaly this isnt my bag. sounds like fast trance with a 2 step beat stuck in it with now attention to melding it with the rythem of the melody. Overall the mix seems a bit thin. Again this isnt my thing..... at a club i would leave the floor if something like this hit the speakers. I wanna listen to something thats gonna make me jump.
Production id say bout 2.5/5 because everything was very basic in sound and the elements remained static throughout the mix. drums just dont fit. the fx used like the filter delay and such just dont cut the mustard with dnb
for the tune itself 3/5 if it was slowed down and made to be an actual trance track
2/5 as it stands in dnb form. just not enough goin on.

yea, definetly on the trance tip....
0:42, beatz get better...
mmm, nice full cycle style beatz rolling out here..
good breakdown
i can see you love a bit of trance too bro..
melodies sound like old happy hardcore tunes
not too sure about keeping them in when you drop the beatz imo.....
3:14 when you bring back in the intro synth - maybe have it doubled up an octave or given some variation imo...
second drop very similar
i love all music and this is good but my mood today is grimey dirty, filthy, the shire or rp45 sort've shit!!, u get me??
keep rinsin S
2.75/5

Trance arps are quite good but nothing new.
Drums are quite nice and get better as layering builds up.
Sub could use quite a boost...
Trance lead building up: sounds very trancey indeed. A bit too much for my taste, since I'm into progressive trance, not anthem trance...
Drop: sounds a bit empty. Try filling it up with some strings or something.
Drums here need a boost though, the leads are overpowering them...
Some kind of decent bassline to fill up the low-end would be very welcome too
Nice melodies, but too trancey for my taste, not enough DnB in it (only the beats) to keep it nicely balanced between the two genres...
2.25/5 for the track
1.75/5 for the levels
