This is a track that I did in the summer and abandoned cause I just couldn't get the sound right. Its abrasive and aggressive but crackly sounding, every time I cleaned it up, it would start sounding weak. Any cures for clipping without losing punch in cubase sx would be much apprieciated! This odd drumbeat was programmed using battery and was just a 1st try fluke pounding on my keyboard.

the meat of this track is awesome. i could nitpick and say something about levels or the parameters of some synths could be changed or whatever...but who am i..bob fuckin' rock?
this track's cooool.

Indeed, lots of clips, which is a pitty.
As I said before: to boost the sound without clipping
- Render to wav without clipping
- Use a hard limiter, like the one in Audition and Cool Edit to boost the signal, but don't overdo it or you will fuck up the dynamics (parts without bass become way too loud)
Like the sounds and drums, but the sound is indeed not that good. But a lot of the problems are caused by the clipping.
Very cool track anyway!

grimey - ueah a bit of clipping taking place
nice synth stabs maybe change the beat a little around this point??

the b-line is proper bouncy and would work in a club
