No you can start a new thread and post a link to your tune if you like. Uploading your tunes to the site will generate much more attention though since it will appear on the front page. But you can always try

5 reviews with a 100 words each. I am still a newbie at making dnb and I am afraid to give a crappy review. But I need serious criticism myself and want producer rights. Where exactly do I write my review. In the tunes thread?
yes you write a review in the producer's thread. i haven't wrote 100 words reviews but i did more than five and then i got PR without askin moderators.
This may of all ready been said but I don't have the patience to look through 7 pages. If you're using samples from a sample pack , when you bought it(provided you bought it) you also bought the rights to re-use those samples in your original work. I would say 90% of samples in dnb are illegal but no one really does anything about it anyway plus the amen itself has been on numerous sample packs so proving whether you got it legally or not is next to impossible. Anywho, ya if you're using a sample pack you're in the clear.
Just registered here and about to get busy writing some reviews so I can post some music but then I find out that the bad ass movie samps I've used in my last four or five songs, which are my favorite by the way, are no longer usefull. I have always had a sinking feeling that this was copywright infringement in some way but I figured there is no way that all the artists I know and love got permission for the loads of movie samps I've heard over the years, but I guess they did. Dom is one of my favorites and he is a big user of sampled movie lines and I am just curious how it works, does he have to pay out royalties on all the tracks featuring anything from a movie? I think I remember one track of his that says on the title (featuring audio from the movie Transformers). Sorry for rambling I am just intrigued by this subject given the fact that this is such a big part of drum and bass music. At least I am safe in one area, i never use sampled drumlines, guess I'll bust out the microphone and come up with some cool sci-fi lines. Thank you to the people who keep this site going, I'm off to review some music and I can't wait for you guys to check out mine, peace......
I think there are exceptions where people license samples, but- for the most part dnb bootlegs samples left right and centre and the genre is so relatively small the copyright holders are rarely aware.
Make sure to sample from less known sources, dress it all up, change it, put some delay on it, ... whatever masks the origin of your sample.
Sampling things like "asta la vista baby" is asking for troubles.
I presonally don't like tunes that contain 5 minutes of horror movie samples and I guess I'm not the only one. So please try to avoid that trap.
