yeah......and i live on the eastern side of the largest lakes in the world (the Great Lakes).......so we get this thing called "Lake Effect Snow".......which means so much snow that in 1993 you couldn't see out of your house.........we had like 9 or 10 feet of snow.......we get ice storms that put so much ice everywhere that trees actually fall down from the weight.......several years ago we had snow until the beginning of April........it's so cold here right now that I'm getting ice build up on the INSIDE of my windows in the bathroom.......I can barely type right now cuz my hands are frozen!!

Let's all go and live in Africa somewhere, there the pouring rain is a welcome relief for the burning heat..
I'm sure I would miss Belgium too when abroad, But I wouldn't want miss Belgium then, I'd forget about her..
Anyway, Surya, I don't think the 'typical american' as you describe him would visit this forum. Neither would the 'typical' Belgian do so...
And I don't think we belgians have proven to be more broadminded then the average American in the last couple of years... forgotten about the results of the elections over here???
Belgium is still a nice country to live in, in spite of the weather... It's a tiny bit overcrowded (understatement!) though, and lacks green space...And it's a typical western country, with it's typical western pace, which drives people mad... It has a rich cultural past, especially medieval, and some nice places to visit. But it depends on what you're looking for to know whether it's worth the trip...
If it's the music, Belgium's the greatest

Ahhh yes, I was pretty wasted when I wrote that last post, but I do really miss Belgium a lot, I like being in a small country, everything is so close, I like the fast pace of the big cities, I like being able to speak Dutch, I like all the culture, etc...
I love living in Milwaukee as well, but after having spent three years living in Europe I have a hard time being away...
Anyway, big up to all the belgium crew, keeping the memories alive for me...

And that's a lovely exemple of it.....
btw, been listening to jungle and dnb for some time now, i've never heard of belgian dnb even that i lived in the uk for 4 years ( no offence, just curious...). So i take your word for it and that would be cool if u give me some producers name that i would chek later on...

I miss my home town of cleveland
...ill be stuck here for a while and will post pone my school time becuase of my girlfriend...i prolly will have to actually just buy a bunch of books and try to teach myself all the tech aspects of producing...its quite sad really...i dont know if i can take it here in south carolina...i miss my city...i miss my home...it saddens me to be here...But is it worth it...although im striving to be the best i can..and take my music somewhere...the vast majority of us wont...whats more important? i hardly know anymore...im still young and have a lot to learn..but quite frankly my musisc and my girl is all i have left...
