i agree with spudley, im a huge fan of trance, and there is some wack evaluations of trance in there...i being an ex trance dj can tell the differnce between and uplifting track and ibiza wich is more hosuy...the guy is a partial idiot...however spduely is right, everyone who knwos anything has a half decent knowledge of the music...
my biggest thing is JUST DONT CALL IT TECHNO damnn thats a pet pee4ve...techno...heh...

don't even get me started with techno!!!
them: what kind of music do you make?
me: mostly drum n bass....but i have been known to make some breaks and bigbeat from time to time
them: so you're in a band?
me: no....i make it on a computer
them: so it's techno?
GAHHHH!!!!!
this world is filled with ignorance......and as they say.......ignorance is bliss......maybe that's why intellegent people are more prone to mental breakdowns!!!

Interesting site, and for sure more for entertainment that actual fact. Like Surora23, I'm a big fan of trance, I stated going to clubs and events or "raves", back in the late 80's, and spun for a while, although I spun a lot of Florida breaks, and hard breaks (140bpms). Therefore I know there are many styles missing from the breakbeat ear or withiin what the site is showing, as well as in the trance section. I don't know too much about drum n bass, although it was the first style I ever listened too way back in the day (jumpin jack frost, etc,) now here I am more than 20 years later, and still having fun with the music. What I love most about electronic music, is it gives you the tools to take your ideas, thoughts, emotions, or experiances, and allows the average home studio user to express them in there own fashion.
Anyway, all said, it's an interesting site, and for sure gives you history of electronic music, although it's missing so many artists... I didn't see any mention of artists like KraftwerK, or Beastie Boys, who developed many different aspects of electronic music.
