Please check out my new track 'Fuckin Clowns' and post your comments here!!!
OK, clownstep (or whatever you wanna call it :D) this time...
All sounds (except, offcourse, the vocals and the drums) are 100% self made synthpatches, all in Malström. So no samples there. That's the first time for me :)
I know it's kinda repetetive, but that's the genre, no? I tried keeping it a bit intresting....
Hope you like it!

nice intro and bass to the first break.
Vocals come true vaguely .
Then, expected a lil' bit more after the build-up.
Beats are nice.
Don't know what clownstep is but I can see that it's repetitve.
Like the part at 2min35:tune of the bass is better.
Build-up at 3min19 is done nicely.
Nice variations in the beat.

Cool song
.
Clownstep isnt really my style, but I enjoyed this song, although it is too repetetive as you said.
Beats are cool, although Im not too fond of the samples you used. Bassline is really cool, but gets repeated too much.
The vocals are really cool, where did you get those??
Especially the second time, the drop after the vocals is really good.
I liked some(not all) of the synthpatches, especially the one similar to the bass.

The snare is acually made of 4 snare samples which I layered.

From my throat
Just distorted it a tiny bit and then filtered out the top and bottom frequencies

like that intro, and teh drums are deff my style...i like that wobbly synth..very cool...this reminds me of a total science t4rack...only better (i hate total science) but this is good...ehhh clownstep...lol shouldve guessed form the name...i really dont like that break...i just dont like the whole 1,2, thing...the bass sounds really good though...very baron? maybe an older ram track...reminds me of pack of wolves...dont really like it...soz...but its really nice production wise (as everything you do usually is)

man you are good? i like the way the synth line bounces... very nice... so thats your voice huh? nice job adding that in...
i cant say i like clown-step but it is very groovy... maybe tune down your bass line a bit its seems to be drowning out your atmos alot.... that rising line feels like im coming out the top of a bottle..

nice drop... that sound reminds me of an older mampi swift song. jaws or something. bit too steppy for me. good mix.
perhaps the intro could use some more detail but overall its a nice tack.

regardless of what anyone says, for me this representz clown-step, it is the bass that makes for a more jump-up techy sound
the beat has that all important 3/4timing which makes it, in my book clownstep.
as for generation dub their tracks fuckin rule man, one of their track, champange cocktails i think its called has a totally demented b-line and the clowny type beatz to go with it
mean twisted tunage

Well, as I was going for a clownstep feel, I figured I might aswell throw in a swingbeat
And no, swingbeats are, contrary to popular belief, NOT 3/4 but nice 4/4
It's like this (where K=kick and S=snare offcourse):
K _ _ _ S _ _ _ K _ _ K S _ _ _
So nothing 3/4 about it
Try it!

Slick tune. Love the first pad (kinda digeridooish) - gives the whole song depth. The bass sound is like none other I've heard. Some unique stops/fills. Very dry production, and if that's what you're going for - cool. I apprieciate the samples you posted. Thanks.

Regardless the fact that I don't like clownstep I'll try to give a review as objective as possible.
* You really know how to choose samples that fit together (the sounds in the intro are very complementary, nice one!)
* The beat samples + beat composition sounds very professional for this genre.
* Nice full feeling overall (means good EQing job!) Bass kick and Bassline are well mixed when listening with headphones.
* Your voice is sounding thin to me, you filtered out to much according my taste. Specially the "fuck" part sounds thin. The growling "uhh" part sounds not thin and has a nice contrast with the other thin piece though.
For this genre it's a very decent track! If I liked the genre more I'd give it a 5 it think. Now it sticks with 4 (am I a hard reviewer?

Very good trippy beats, very nice techniques, besteteestestest sound quality and stuff, likin' it!
4.75/5 since it's a lil' bit way too repetative. But g00t.

yea man you're good in making melodies fit together..
the drop can indeed be harder, maybe you can make the voice sample a bit harder.. ?
I like the bassline.. but even though it is clownstep, maybe you can put some variation in.. going up a note or whatever..
It gets boring after a while, but that's clownstep..
nice job overall.. 4/5
