Every year I seem to age about 5 extra years in Christmas-grumpiness - I'm now aged about 50 in terms of grumpiness. I'd be fucking brilliant on that show "Grumpy Old Men". I keep finding myself saying things like "It's just a big swizz this Christmas malarky and these mugs fall for it" and "Whatever happened to the true spirit of Christmas?" and "Kids these days don't realise how easy they've got it".

To me, Christmas can be summed up like this...

Religious twaddle + Advertising and general hyped-up wankerism + Human laziness and herd-mentality + Commerical shafting + Any excuse for a piss-up + Crap presents received + Crap presents bought only because you have to + Re-runs of shite TV shows + Endless repeats of the same old shit Christmas tunes, especially Slade + Dry turkey and fucking sprouts = Christmas.
