I'm not sure how much of the Tighten Up (or Samurai) is acually used. The ride, for sure, but I don't know about the rest...

is there a small sample pack someone can put together that will consist of what goes into a samarai, or a blue monday break etc?

i HATE using premade loops cause i always have to pitch them to my song speed, so id rather program my own...but i dont really know what samples i should and shouldnt use...i have a few amen samples, but they suck..anyone have any better?

amen hits
there they are. just throw the whole sample into the fl slicer and arrange away. theres even a tamborine sample in there too so you can make it nice and splashy. add a touch of compression and some reverb and your good to go. Cool
be sure the slicer is set on dull setting otherwise it will chop some hits in half.

the Tramen (or Firefight) is the Amen layered with another popular break.....I forget which one......surya can tell ya......or someone else who gets to it first.....the amen is probably the most widely used break though.....aside from maybe drummer's beat and apache......it's really good stuff!!!

mmmmmmm Apache.... just the word makes me drool and my ears twitch...
