Please check out my new track 'Cigarette Boat' and post your comments here!!!
OK...here we go. I totally ripped apart my last track "Frost"...and started again...i took away the happy hard core crap and only used the drum and bass portion. Then i added a whole bunch more samples that i have been working on...AND...this time i ran it through a filter AND now i have better sound...and effects! It took about 5 hours. Ok so this is what Drum n Bass .be is all about...use the feedback !! I definaltly need more work on things...but..i think im getting better..at least technically. Here it is...have fun!
Cheers!

the build-up is like it comes it grows and then, nothin the almost the same..
rispekt for the bass guitar man, iz nice...
this is how much i like it: 2/5 (4/5 for the shaker and 5/5 for the bass)

You have a good Idea what you want. I like you drums till about the 2 min marker. they seem to be comming off of the track like a derailed train. you need to change that. I do like your piano work but I think you could use a grungier bass line if you know what i mean. Otherwise you have something workin. just fix those drums. OH I like your filtering job too but just dont over do it. DJ Parash The Grammaton Cleric

A review:
Nice intro. I like the piano, though it is little repetitive. The beat at 00:31 rules.
The beat is great, 180/190 bpm? It is sure damn fast!
You switch themes too fast, you turn down the piano, then after 10 seconds you bring it back, then turn it off again...
Try to change the melody of the different piano parts. This sounds almost like a mix of some dj, that is playing with his crossfader
The tune becomes little boring at 02:40. Maybe because there are not enough variables in the rhytm, or maybe because the piano thing is coming again at 03:15, I don't know.
The ballance is little disturbed, cause the piano is more on the left channel, and I feel empty on my right ear.
It seems that the main problem is the changing of themes. The non-piano theme is jazzy like, but in different key, different from the piano. They don't suit much. Try changing the piano melodies of the next parts, it sure shall help you alot.
Also, increase the hit of the piano by boosting at 3000 Hz with a peak EQ increaser. It will hit harder, thus will fill the sound space.
A good tune, but needs improvments
2,5/5
PS I listen to the tune again... I noticed now that you have another piano pattern, but is very quiet, and the first one is too damn the same. The rhytm is born for da dance floor, so use it in a tune for dancing. A good sub bass with it shall be ok, a jungle taste

You know i can say that this is interesting... too happy for my own taste.. and not danceable.. at the least...
i got say the beat is fast and interesting.. the piano is a little overdone i feel like im in a trance tube...
your snares are nice though and i think you should work on that piano synth brefore anything...
2/5

mmm.. dreamy man..
levels are very high though bruv
i must say that i would'nt buy this cos it aint my style but it is toe-tappin'..
there are some nice elements and when the peiano is brought back in it sounds fresh for about 5 seconds and the piano that follows is too quiet in my opinion
placement on some of the breaks makes for interesting listening, i wouldn't advise doubling up ur breaks like that unless you eq em jus right, it sounds too much otherwise
nice track,
fuckin love the douible bass that comes in at the end, nice little touch
3.2/5

Piano stuff is kinda cool and funky
Drums are quite good
You have a sub, but not bassline, add one.
Your structure is quite unintresting though: piano comes in, fades out, fades in again, fades out again...
So, you have good elements in here, but as a track, frankly, it's not good.

Nice piano tune, crazy beats. Has a very classy vibe.
I think you lack a bass cause the song sounds rather empty. Also there aren't any build-ups or drops.
Your ideas are nice, you just need to work on this one. Now I'm gonna stop cause I would just be repeting what others said.
