Shit, im proud of this thing... iz just what i wanted.. please listen to it and tell me what you feel/think (both would be appreciated).. Get yourself an albino2 and learn how to tune it. It comes with something like 200 presets but they barely scratch the surface of what it can do. The front control panel looks a little intimidating but after some time reading up on it you will see that it is in fact very striaght foward. For effects my baby is the psp nitro, the presets agian are a bit dodgy so you have to tune it for the source material which isnt an easy task with this bad boy. but once you get the hang of it the possibilitys are almost endless. so in closing, many people say its not what you use but how you use it...... well let me just say I wouldnt want a surgion openin me up with a steak knife, im sure a good surgion would get the job done but it wouldnt be easy. I really like the basic track. I think you need to add some more substance to it though. Your timing is pretty good...a lot better than in some of your other tracks. It sounds to me that you are very creative..i've noticed in other tracks too...u just need to learn more and get some more gear...and hey..same for me! But sounds like you had fun...which i think is the most important part anyway! So..i think 4/5 for effort...and 2.5/5 for technical. Look forward to the next one man! I shall use it somewhere (modified) The build-up at the begining is ok, but the bass is little lame... sounds like a super mario commodore 64 fruity loops emulator bass sound I don't like the snare, no snap. The power is ok, the lenght is great but the snap is gone. 01:42 this break beat rulez man! The sound that comes in at 01:52 is too loud, I can't hear the break beat. Also that scorching sound (like lowered-pitch-inverted-hihat) is too loud. Happily, it lasts very few milliseconds 02:48 great Break. That sound of clicking, you could have added reverb on it, to make the atmosphere. Like this, and it breaks (a little) the flow. Bit repetitive though, the tune. Intentional? Snares and ghosts are quite nice. They get puched away by the melodies though. Some nice sweeps and stuff, but some are way too loud (awtch!) Overall youd sounds and melodies aren't very intresting. The sounds are quite dull and standard sounding. Bassline kinda lacks bass too. Sounds a bit like you've put some distortion on the whole mix.
