Please check out my new track 'Frost' and post your comments here!!!
Well...been away for a while...damn business trips...anyway..I made this in a couple of hours...i'm experimenting with a few things...trying to take all of your advice...which is great by the way! Basically trying to switch things up and make it more interesting. This still needs work but i have tried to encompass some of the things i've learned from the posts. So here it is..I look forward to your comments.

well i didnt give much feedback on this track on my first post and im sorry if i was a bit harsh but for a track to even begin to be drum n bass you have to have some breakbeat action with the percusion. simply layin down a 4/4 beat does not cut it. and as far as the bas goes you absolutly must have some sub bass to acompany the rythem. If i played something like this to a drumnbass crowd they would sit down and give me dirty looks
once agian sorry to be harsh but this is very clearly not drum n bass.

Marisol is right. Having a breakbeat layered with a strong 4-4 kick and some breakbeat only parts here and there doesn't make a track DnB.
This doesn't have the feel or the groove of a DnB track. Not the same kind of melodies or basslines or sound or... anything.
Sorry, but I can't see the DnB in thisone either.

Thats cool...i can see where your comments are coming from.....i guess it was a little too experimental! Next time its pure drum and bass.
Cheers,

wow yeah.... REAL jungle!!!
I heve a feel if this is properly mixed and mastered, but seems like the jump-up beat isnt tight enough! the tribl asspect is mighty. real lo fi mp3. the beats also control to much of the song. damm man work this out . if not, and if ok with you, i'll try it! even a techno push hehe
cheers
