Carlos Slinger a.k.a DJ Soul Slinger is a pioneer of electronic music. As
the founder and creative head of the New York City-based Liquid Sky Music
and Liquid Sky D-Sign, he was responsible for some of the most forward-
thinking music and clothing to emerge from the New York City underground
scene (89-02). Slinger has worked with a multitude of ground breaking
artists including, Production and Remix for Afrika Bambaataa, Ali Khan,
Elliot Sharp, Bill Laswell, Bernie Worell (Funkadelic),Grand Master DST,
Derek Bailey, William Burroughs, Ziggy Marley, Deee Lite, Arto Lindsay,
Buckethead, DJ Disk, DJ Spooky, Air Liquide, Otto with Bebel Gilberto,
Chico Science and Nacao Zumbi, Funk como le gusta, BID,Cyro Batista, Suba,
Mestre Ambrosio, The Swirlies and others.
Now, in the prime of his illustrious career as producer/dj/entrepreneur,
Soulslinger is touring the world in support of his latest release, a CD
entitled, Sounds of Liquid Sky - an anthology of the music that has
sculpted and formed the American Drum-n-Bass scene from it's infancy till
today.
