Please check out my new track 'bz3047' and post your comments here!!!

I wanted to hear some of your opinions concerning the eq of this track. The track itself is like, well, 'almost' finished, but it's the eq i'm worried about. Is this a total nonsense way of eq'ing or does it make some sense?
What can i do to make it better?
I'm aware that there's no strict rules in eq'ing, but in the end, there's always an ever-returning set of tips and hints that might work.
So hit me!

wow, impressive tune, there is a lot to listen too....Allears
a rockin' 4/5, nice done, respect.
about eq: there is some resonance @ 85 Hz that i should pull down a bit ,
also boost some highs (@15-20 kHz)...
...try different eq-plug-ins if you can't get out.

Ok, gonna try that 85hz-tip. Concerning the high's, i thought they already were quite present, but i can be wrong (still working only on headphones).
Btw: how do you come to the conclusion that the 85hz should be reduced a bit? What software do you use here?

Just any parametric eq will do this: gain one peak eq +10dB with a high Q (narrow bandwidth), sweep it over the spectrum, if something sounds loud and dirty, stop sweeping and gain the eq under zero and the dirt is covered.

damn

a good tune but i think there a bit too much in it. unless you again want to take things more experimental. it's not a bad thing u know that. i just kinda flips from point a to b.

i like that dark/oldskool/rave vibe in it.
maybe the drums are too loud or too much eq'ed duno

"here and there" some more quantizing to make it all thight
and your set!

oh i luuuv the bass stabs TA TA TA

Intro: wow: heavy comressed drums. Is this the loop or did you compress it so much? If so, turn down your compressor mate! The sound of these drums is quite lowfi. There's almost no +10khz. If you're working on headphones, try using an FFT to analyze your sound.

Cool basslines and all.

Drummrolls are sweeet!

The track could use more mid overall too.

Part around 3.00 with the Uh!'s is weird: I think you've put that sample in the wrong place, now it sounds offbeat.

Very well made track, but the sound leaves quite a bit to be desired. Get some monitors now!

3.5/5 for the track
2/5 for the sound and stuff

(allè jos, zoals belooft),

just a few things to ad to this one, the little details in some parts are awsome. breaks are ok too. but there is again a serious level of dullness in the beats. sub is massive. terror sounds = yeah. love the drumroll fills. there is with the terror sounds an othersound that should become a bit louder. the uuuhhhh is Big Grin .
at 3.25 bassline louder. I like it a lot. but it lasts a minute too long IMHO. or work more structuraly to the ending. pitty of the other track containing the female copyright. that one was

cheers josRinse

good tune, rolls along sweetly, i dont know if its on purpose or accidental but some of the timing seems a bit out, if the tune would (I think) be hard to mix.
I like the choice of sounds/instruments on the intro, reminds me of an old DnB track I've got on vinyl.

I cant comment on the eq'n cause I listen to my tracks through crappy speakers that have done a few too many house parties, so when you hear my mix downs, its all over the place !
As I think someone posted earlier..get a set of monitors (something I should have done a while ago).
