Please check out my new track 'Hiram Abiff (lost soul reedit)' and post your comments here!!!

made this a while back and could never get a good mixdown thru reason alone...well i went back over it in cubase, added some effects and blue tubes compression....sounds way better so i decided to reupload it...i also shortened it...could be better still...but i`m tired of messing with it...figured it deserved a good mixdown tho...

intro is good, retains some energy and has suspense,
i would play it a little faster
hmmm... okay, i'm feelin it, lots of things coming earlier than i'd expected, if you did decide to mess wit da track again then lengthen the intro bruv

like the grungy bass needs to be louder though

yeah, this is alrigh man, the beatz are the best feature not that the bass isn't but it could do with raising in areas

good stuff
3/5

engaged.....loopy......really trippy.....i like those drums.....it's weird with the amen over top of that punchy snare......the bass could definitely be a little bit louder though......can't judge properly though because I only have shitty phones on right now.....nice roller though...umm...i could use the word though again though....enough though......3.745867234/5

pretty good, reminds me a little of Klute, especially the intro....
personally id add another snare hit on the 'sixteen' of the drum pattern, but with a low velocity. amen sounds good, and as much as i luv it its been done to death... and the way the likes of Fresh are now programming it you need to do something original and special with it in order to get peoples attention.
You might want to try a kind of short, trancey bleepy melody with a high pass on it, keep it low in the backround of the mix with a bit of reverb.
still...im feelin but replace the amen with another beat, theres plenty of 'complicated' beats around in a similar style, its just a case of diggin', and then layer them. 3.8/5

Intro is nice.

Drums kick in: kick could use a boost, but the snare is a bit too loud. Hats are quite loud too.

Ah, tramenz kicking in: nice. Give them some more hi-end though.

Good sounds and melodies.

Breakdown is a bit long.

Nice track, but maybe a bit too luch of the same the whole time.

3.25/5 for the track
2/5 for the mastering

cool intro...levels are really quiet...but you mentioned the mixdown wasnt to good...has a bit of a tech itch feel...i cant really comment because the levels are so low taht i cant hear anything... but the songin its self is cool...deffinitely feeling the amens in the background...the bell synth is cool...i like this, just wish it was a lot louder...

ok i`ll do a betta mixdown since it got rated so high...oh a just a note...i usually try not to make my shit toooooo complicated because i try and make it dj friendly....if you have a bunch of transistions you don`t usually have space to phase the track with something else...for an extended period...if shit changes too much during the track...it becomes almost impossible to mix...unless you just use the drop in mix method...guess it`s just my thing because when i mix i like to find tracks that go together and play them out a while before cutting one out of the mix

yeh this is pretty good

maybe try to lower the snare so it fits better with the firefight.

the bass melody needs to be upfront i think.
the athmos dominates when the tune drops.

good tune! good sounds, strong melody, just try to make it a bit more compact.
personally there a bit too much air between each layer of sound
