I don't know what exactly is wrong, but I definitely get some strange results concerning threads with unread posts. this is what happened just now: I open the forum, read all the threads with new posts, take a look at the pix, go to the main page, back to the forum and guess what: all these threads which I just read, are again marked "unread". When i refresh the page, their staus is changed to "all read".
???????????????????????????
This shouldn't be happening, should it? I mean, I can understand that the stats won't be correct if I use my browsers back-button, but I didn't!

I've noticed this too, but I think it's a problem with IE not updating the cookie. It seems to happen when you close the browser while being at a page in the forum. In my experience it doesn't happen when you leave the forum (ie visit another site) and then exit IE...
I'll check on the Woltlab support boards for some more info on this...

It happens when you reenter the board only a few minutes after you exited it...

On breakz.be it's the opposite. Ther you sometimes have everything marked read when you're still checking stuff...
