what do you think of flash as a VJing tool?
i am making a software on flash that brings interactive randomness, and think iz gonna work on the stage.

wats your experience with this?

Hmm, dunno, I would have to see it to be able to judge it. Is the "randomness" u speak of in any way controlable, does it have a sort of beat sensor thingie in order to let the visuals be controlled by the music,... I usually use arkaos, u can load pictures, video, flash animations, into it and then layer them, ad effects, .... It has a midi interface, and can sync to any music source. U might want to take a look at the free trial version.

Also have heard a lot of goot things about the resolume VJ software, but haven't tried it yet.
Also check this site & forum dedicated to vj'ing: www.vjcentral.com. Some crazy dudes on there using like shitloads of hardware and stuff for their performances, I usually only use a computer and sometimes a DVD player and vidmixer.

yeah i used arkaos but it doesent fit into my scheme.
my idea for the software is that it has no connection to the music except yourself, so it all depends on your reflexes.
and yes the randomness is bounded by certain coding and my designing. i basicly make it for myself. and i think itlll work out good.
i am a member of www.vjforums.com and there is alot of people outhere that use such hardware (there is even specialized forums for that there)
checkit maybe itll work out.
