Yo, i love DnB bigtime, but somehow i prefer Goa above it. Anyone knows a Dutch goaforum or something about Goa in Belgium. I've also heard it's easier to mix goa records than dnb records, is this true?

i used to love trance (still do, but not as much as di DNB sound)
now i only have a few parasense cd'z and astral live..
but i gots the dnb in kilos (gold)
after a while, trance became to repetitive for me, and i didn't leave but eased off-of it..
peace
an dnb when you can

Technically, Goa is certainly easier to mix then DnB, but there's one major difference, in Goa the melodies are much more important to the song, and this makes it more difficult to match two songs together... In d&b almost any two songs can be mixed together (ok, this is an exageration)...

one problem is, that you have to match the tempo of 4x4 songs very precisely becouse it's much more audible if two songs are not synced, so techno/trance/goa djs have to spend more time with sync, in dnb you can sync it manually and people will not recognize it.
btw I love goa as well
before I started to make dnb I was making trance and goa for about 4 years. And I guess I will make some progressive trance/house songs in future.

that one is also true, about the 4/4 having to be very tight, but I do think that also counts for D&B, at least, when I listen to it... ;-)
But they do tend to use the crossfaders and the faders less, like in house, with melodies it's hard to do breaks...
