Not coz it needs this that & the other....

took 5hrs so far...15-11-2004
I used Wavelab 4 & Reason 2.5 to make this track.. very easy very effective..

Rollin, like it so far. the worst thing about mp3s is you get a kind of phasing sound sometimes, and this seems to suffer from it a little, but thats not your fault. vocals work really well with the bass, reminds of a kind of more traditional style of songwriting, more based around the singing.

vocs yours?

very moody, nice building-up. bit experimental Tom Yorcke or something.some high atmo in the back could be a bit louder around 2.30. sounds a bit messy with the uprising sound. maybe chop it some more or delay wise. nice and tight tough the rest. maybe heavien the snare or pitch it down abit at the last drop. uprising sound is too accentuated! nice twist at the end. and a clean nice ending is needed in such a mood!!!! its very good but maybe it needs a chord switch in some part!

very nice track mate, I really enjoy this one Smile

this is quality stuff Big Grin

what I look at the most with these "vocals included" tracks is: nice sync between the DnB n vocals ? this aspect gets a yeah :p
vocals don't disturb the DnB ? no they don't :f
VERY nice Muse-style vocals ... could it be they're from Muse ?
VERY nice mix of sounds you used, (although I don't know anything bout what high-hats are, snares.... bleh bleh I suck at that...) VERY nice indeed.

definately one of my favs mate...
I can't judge in professional therms, but my appreciation is like: YEAH baby YEAH Bigup

btw: you used a sample from Fierce Alien Girl... right ? Big Grin

snare is way to soft...cool sounds...strange eq on voice (can't understand lyrics (if it has to?)) but cool fx...yes really, drums need a boost...phasing kind of boring....good timed drops....
yeah man, great done, your tracks aren't bad, only sound adjustement needs a lot of work (try some good headphones sometimes)

Nice track, but it still needs a lot of work on the levels.

Snare could use more punch and snappyness.

Your basslines are cool but you need to reEQ them to more effectively fill up the track.

Vocal is a bit too loud imo.

It would be nice to have something else than the atmospherics to fill up the mid part next to the vocals, coz it sounds a bit empty now.

Oh yeah, there's an unwanted annoying frequency @ 18khz or something. Filter it out.

With a little more work this could be a very, very nice track.

3/5 for now

a 320Kbps at 96Khz mp3 is actually very good quality.....certainly not the best......but the only time you get "phasing" as you guys like to call it on an mp3 is when you have low quality mp3's.....so calm down utter muppet man......this is a good track though......i'm only listening on some shitty phones so i can't judge the freqs properly......but as for the levels......the snare sounds kinda loud.......really snappy though.....like a breakneck snare!!!

I dont like it.
Beat is way to simple. Kick dusnt have enough punch. Snare is nice.
Dont like the bass sound. It fades in & out.
I like the idea of the vocals, but not the execution.

Production is pretty good, just not big on the ideas.
