Please check out my new track 'Infinity (surora remix) 90%' and post your comments here!!!
This is the Infinity track that has been going around and oh so many people have taken their skills and tore it to shreds...well in this i took diff samples from emblem x and suryas sample packs, and i usd a few of my own...The main ideas was to get something that will get you pumped to get up and dance, but at the same time makes yo focus on lsitening rather than dancing...I wanted a melodic feel, something emotional...I added a lot of distortion on some elements suich as the bass and what not...There were also some experiments in here on my effects and what not since im becoming more familiar...hope you enjoy...
Peace, DjSurora

I hadn't read your comments and had noticed a lot of my and Emblem-Xz version in there... what I liked offcourse
Like the non straight breaks, nice touch
Sub is fine, maybe add a bit more bass
Hats and rides are overpowering, turn them down a bit.
Give the kick a slight boost too.
Stereo image is nice.
That higher gated sound you added isn't too convincing though. It sounds to me a bit you added it to say "Look, that is what I added". I mean: it's not bad at all, but it sounds a bit uninspired and I think the tune would have been just as good without it...
Maybe make the whole thing a bit shorter...
Nice going, just sort out those levels a bit
3.25/5 for the track
2.5/5 for the levels

I listened to your new edit Surora... im liking this m8.. I see you took my advice & experimented with the FX on this 1....what i tend to find is...Instead of making all the Melodies yaself.... i use CV control & Audio CV to manipulate sound to how i want them ... not close enough...EXACTLY
Im gonna keep adding to this post of mine when all the new elements are placed for the COMPLETE tune

Surya is right...my gated synth is kind of in there to be a filler and doesnt hold really too much inspiration...for soem reason ive been having an ass of atime getting stuff to work...im gonna add my own samples...i was trying to ONLY use the sample packs to see, but i need something new...ive found that i could mix things up but it all ends up sounding tooo familiar to the orginal work....anytakers on this version? i will be posting a Vocal version in a few months with a friend of mine who is going to sing on it, and i will be posting the finished version tonight...Cheers

sounds good.......that gated synth sounds ok to me.......maybe just cut it back a little bit......i can't wait til it's my turn with this nonsense
so what's the deal with it......do i make a totally fresh track? or do I add onto your's? i just make a new track out of the samples right? that's the way it should be anyways.....but who knows

Wicked bassline and a real brainbasher of a hardstep beat. Liking it a lot. Real main room at an all-nighter fodder.

Liking the intro a lot, the reverb and soft high end gives me a really cosy feeling, like I'm wrapped in soft and warm blankets and am receiving soothing musical therapy
The drums ask for a bit more power, making them a bit louder and edgier and reducing the reverb on it would bring them more upfront.
Big up for your high end, it's quite full but the choice of hihats, cymbals etc is wonderful and it still sounds open.
The warm heavily reverbed synth line in the beginning (starts at 0:21) should be changed in the remainder of the track. In the beginning it sounds really good but once the track gets going it is to dull, too thick and too ambient. Get down with the automation and you'll be able to change the sound dynamically throughout the song.
