Very teknoish sounds and stuff.
Drums need a boost. Hats are too loud though. Kick sounds a bit to "ploffy". Make it kick more. Boost the 80-90hz range
Very messy overall. Everything is always together with a lot of other stuff.
2.53: bassline coming in: sounds like a sampled Dave Akuma bassline if I'm not mistaken. Quite nice, but sounds really familiar.
Also: the drop of a DnB track does NOT come halfway. It comes shortly after the beginning (preferably somewhere between 1 and 2 minutes). Make the intro shorter.
Sub needs a boost.
Track gets a bit repetetive after this.
Not bad, but not very good either. I don't think you should work on it more though. I think you still have much to learn, so just make a coulple of other tracks, you'll get there eventually.
2/5
To put the track in the listen page, read the topic about that
PS: it wouldn't hurt to do some reviews

No, it's not like I'm bad at math or something. In fact I'm rather good at it
But read what I wrote on this matter before:
quote: |
Nope, scores on /5 are different from /10
1/5=-5.5/10
2/5=6/10-7/10
3/5=7.5/10-8/10
4/5=9/10
5/5=10/10
It's not rocket science, but it's more something like that...
It comes from the fact that most tracks are good enough to get at least a 5/10 score. That would mean that you'd hardly have any tracks with a score between 2.5/5. That would also mean that you have only a difference from 2.5/5 to 5/5 for a rating from just good enough to exelent... which isn't very acurate. So that's why a score on 5 is done differently, to allow raters to give more acurate scores for at least 90% of the tracks.
I hope this is clear to you now? |
