i agree with spudleyq, that our own purpose is relative and we create it ourselves, but the thing is what is the best goal. first we try to find something universal in all humans, a something that we all always see as best.

it may be artificial, but if the goal in life is the pursuit of hapiness in the boundaries of true human morality, i think is quite positive and beautiful. methinks
