ive never heard that rave was the actual source of
dnb? becouse the rave that i have heard don't sound like dnb, even on 200 BPM?
I also wanted to ask who were the peoplez (or person) that is the most known for starting the drumnbass?? like the REAL FATHER OF DNB

Most music styles are born out of one or more older existing music styles.. If you go far enough back, Blues is an "ancestor" of House/Techno/DnB/...
It's not like they said - hey let's create a new style, it's more of an evolution with influences from all the things they like, other artists - and yes - there are certainly old rave influences in DnB. It evolved so much, that it developed own specific characteristics that was adopted by only a part of the public from the original styles it evolved from, and also attracted new ppl who weren't attracted to the original styles. A new style is born, someone makes up a name, and voila...

yeah i know that no music genre just started out from nowhere but there was some genres that had like one person mostly accredited for the creation.
i juz thought there would be a dnb guy that did the same.
hey if anyone could come to oklahoma, us and make alot of dnb parties to ENLIGHTEN THE BOORING OKLAHOMA CROWD. during the last 3 months there waz only ONE, ONE (i will repeat, sorry) ONE
drumn'bass party (Evol Intent), and the saddest thing waz, nobody wanted to go wit me (sad), and i didn't go coz' i had no ride. (damn trans-portation)

The Enemy of Evol Intent told me the scene in the states sucked... We have multiple parties almost every day of the weekend. Most of them are quite small, but always cozy and enough peeps too fill it up. Damn, we're lucky!!!

hmm that really suck ass, we have a dnb night every thursday night, in my place and there are lots of dnb parties around.. In Vienna's flex there are quite often big names.. maybe we don't know what we have here ^^

i also did not appreciate what i had back in my country (Macedonia,Skopje)
we had a home organized (wit home dj'z) party almost every week (if not to partiez, a week)
and i did go to most of them, but now, thiz iz a big shock! IM ON THE DRY HERE
the only person in oklahoma that said she knows what dnb iz, she actually iz from my country?? wierd izn't it.
ok ill stop wine-ing, and ill begin beer-ing
coz' i prefer the delicate BEER taste, over the wine taste.
But, in 6 months, i'll be able to live on dnb again (and not on air, like here)

but have you tried already to go to some american dnb sites , like midwest dnb .com ( i think its this adress) ... i think there you could find lots of similar minded people , who perhaps even live in your neigbourhood

dunno i live in the city of pittsburgh, which is 2 hours from cleveland, ohio and about 3-4 from columbus, dayton, and cincinatti...6 from philly and there are weekly events almost every nite of the week...in pittsburgh alone we have DNB on wed`s and open tables on tuesdays....and a new DNB nite is starting here soon....and thats just the midwest...a lot of people say modern DNB not old skool started in philly....i dunno 4 sure tho but philly is a pretty cool place to get culture shocked...just stay out the ghetto!!!

damjancd if you live in oklahoma try and check out houston, dallas, or st antonio texas....shit there is usually off the scales...probably a few hour drive but check on the net for events....www.hyperreal.org is a ROM list of events all over the world...check that out you`ll definitely find something....

Chicago's drum + bass scene is dead. We used 2 have the Seminar + BassbythePound which would bring in all kinds of talent but people stopped showing up. What the fuck happened? why!?!?!?!?!?
I had some life changing experiences at those events ... like when I saw Teebee in 2001 = "U think u a motherfuckin DJ?!!!!!!! ... OWWWW!!!!!"

well first there was Adam and Eve, then Adam went ruffling on this block of wood.
Eve tought 'hey Adam, thats wicked' so she cut a few locks of hair and spinned them around a stick,which she got from a tree, and began to gently strike it hard. suddenly a snake came out of the bushes and tought 'how splendid' and added a complete high-hat line. they jammed the whole evening, night and morning.

but ... the story doesn't end like that. Jungle/drum+ bass will never die in this (suburb of Chicago) heart.
I could see myself blendin tunes + werkin the beats well beyond the grave! 
The saddest thing about the D+B death in Chicago is that our last show was Photek, DJ Hype + Total Science and still barely anybody came ... everybody knew it was the last show. What the F*ck!!??
