First think that hit me: you've onverdone the brilliance. I think you wanted to make it too crisp sounding...
There's enough of the original in here, and it's not too similar, so that's good.
But I think the new bassline sounds a bit too muddy and not punchy enough. This should be a very punchy track imo.
Re-equalize the bassdrum a bit to make it come out a bit more.
Good remix, but go easy on the hi-end next time!
