So this is a remix I made of Haze's track. I liked those guitars and the tention in the melody of them, so I really wanted to do a remix of thisone. I tried giving it even more tention by using other melodies and sounds for the bassline and adding some effects (like the breathy resonance sound). I'm really satisfied with that! For the beats I opted for the Ill.Skillz style. I didn't want this track to be boasting with power in the conventional style, I wanted the power to come from the melodies. You might think the second drop doesn't have the power it should have, but this is the way I wanted it. The track is in fact really simple (very little elements) and quite long, so I hope you don't find it boring. Made in Reason 2.5, completely samplebased. I think the first synth has a little bit too much of reso, i think if you play this on a big club soundsystem it will blow some ears.. ==> equalise or less reso, Melody is nice and i like it's sound. Bassline is tight and well balanced with the kick. I think something in the rhytm interferes with the clap.. probably the ghost "snares" try to shorten decay and maybe some equalisation here can also help.
