Aka Emma Weaver, DJ Wild Child has been at the cutting edge of the drum & bass scene since 1994 when she was spotted by the legendary pirate radio station Kool FM to become their first resident female DJ. She had a weekly show for 4 years and played at many of the Kool FM and Jungle Fever parties.
At the height of the Jungle era DJ Wild Child was in demand at top events such as... Desire, Thunder & Joy, One Nation, Exposure and Telepathy, capturing 1,000s of peoples imagination with her original long mixing style. Currently her favourite regular bookings on the Drum & Bass scene include Movement @ Bar Rumba (London), Fabric (London), The End (London), United Dance (London), Coco Shabeen (Bournemouth), Trouble On Vinyl (London) and Traffic (London). She has also featured on MTV where she was filmed playing at the legendary Notting Hill Carnival.
Wild Childs DJing has flown her all over the World to the States, Canada, Israel, Switzerland, France, Scotland, Japan, Macedonia, Austria, Germany, Australia plus many more.
As one of Drum & Bass most promising talents, She was offered a 4 CD deal with Millennium records in 1996. The first two compilations The London Update of Drum and Bass and Jungle Talk (feat. MC Skibadee) were highly successful in England and abroad. This led to the third CD Fulla Danger featuring the U.Ks female MC, Chick-a-boo. Her 4th and most recent CD, Exposed , was released in July 2000. This also features the vocal talents of female legend MC Chick-a-boo.
Wildchild has worked at a number of top record companies including SRD where she was label manager for some of the biggest drum & bass labels.
Continually striving to improve her skills & knowledge of the music business, Wild Child has recently gained an HND in Music Technology.
Wildchild is now concentrating on her own label WILDSTYLE RECORDINGS and spending time in the studio,aswell as dj-ing around the world!
Her talents go from strength to strength as she gets closer and closer to her goal of being a top producer and entering the history books as the DJ who could make the crowd go crazy!

LENZMAN & MC DAN STEZO :: asylum, NL
After years spent listening to and creating Hiphop Lenzman first got seriously into Drum & Bass back in '96. After a couple of years of collecting records and building his skills, he gained some club experience in the late 90's in local Leiden venues LVC, Q-Bus & In Casa.
In 2000 Lenzman, who had decided to give up Hiphop to focus on his DJing, became more confident about his skills and started to record demos. This led to his first out-of-town booking: the now defunct Junglism nights in Speakers, Delft.
Not long after this Lenzman hooked up with Cutoff and later Mos to form Future Research. Between 2001 and 2004 Future Research promoted nights in OCCII, Twstd (both in Amsterdam) and Patronaat (Haarlem). During his period with Future Research Lenzman played at most of the major Drum & Bass nights in the Netherlands as well as the Czech Republic, Belgium and Scotland.
But as time progressed so too did Lenzman and slowly but surely he developed his sound. In 2004 Lenzman decided to leave Future Research. This was partially because he felt the sound he represented no longer matched that of Future Research.
Since then Lenzman has teamed up with long time confidant (MC) Dan Stezo and Blazin Beats resident (DJ) Scarr to form Asylum. Asylum goes against the grain, providing a musical shelter in a scene dominated by dark and soulless Drum & Bass.
Apart from DJing Lenzman also produces the occasional track. And to his pleasant surprise one of his efforts was recently signed by Nookie for his new Strictly Digital label.
DAN STEZO
Since the age of 10, Dan Stezo is passionately coppin' Hiphop tapes. After making some name in the Leiden area as a writer Dan Stezo joined forces with Ancient Scriptures and since 2000 gained recognition in the Hiphop scene. Working together with diverse Hiphop and Reggae vocalists, Dan Stezo developed a versatile style, which he combines with an energetic stage pressence. With Ancient Scriptures he performed at major stages in the randstad.
In 2003, DJ Lenzman asked Dan Stezo to add some vocals to his set with DJ Aphrodite. Ever since Dan Stezo and Lenzman worked together to make 3 out of 2. Dan Stezo joined Future Research shortly after and was one of the well received guest in Czech Republic.
Recently Dan Stezo and Lenzman decided to even strengthen their commitment to the sound they want to put out under the moniker ASYLUM. Musical refugees are permitted in the warm shelter created through the blend of soul infested tunes and bassrolling dubtracks. The music selected is not a platform for the MC, but comes together with the vocals establishing synergy. 1+1=3.

big up on your preparation and dedication but what the fuk are you doing dropin lines with mtv in a drum n bass promotion. thats a sure fire way to drive away alot of hardcores.
maybe mtv has different standards in the uk but its still built on the same foundation.
now that i got that outa the way

explain, don't get it what you're saying about MTV in your post, what does it have to do with our party ...
and with 2 years of working I mean that after 2 years we finally can give a party like this, every organiser know it ain't easy and for small organisations sometimes it's a long way to drive before ya can manage it. You can think what ya want but we're proud on this one, we wanna celebrate and we hope we'll be able to that with many other dnb headz !

hey you shouldn't pretend, it really is good music
lenzman is top notch liquid quality and wildchild has quite a heavy selection and got some skillz too, ok she's female and looking fine but a good dj and producer ... not to forget flex, underrated belgian dj imho !
