Nice promo pack. Good for practicing your skills for a reasonable price (if you pay the promo price at least). Don't know if it's fit for professional work tho, don't know enough about that

Guess it all depends on from where you're upgrading. If you're just starting I guess that this is a very nice package, certainly for that price. It's all there:
- a mixer (but only with a 2 band EQ)
- rather nice TT's (direct drive)
- nice cartridges
- a headphone
- THE PRICE, as Suraya already said, that's a damn low price for what you're getting (which I think is a very nice point)
If it's actually possible to buy it at that price, I guess I'd go for it as a good middleclass package. If U really are willing to go for it on your skillz I'd advise you to buy the better ones, which are the SL1200 (even second hand they still are good and that takes the price down), and I guess them new Numarks are good (never tested them though) and Vestax also is, but I've never tested them (and they are damn expensive).
This is only my opinion, I'm not a pro, but I've been searching for a whole while with putting together my system, had informed myself a lot (donno how accurate it still is, it's been 2 years). Can't say much more, I hope I helped ya a bit.

Bare in mind that those commercial packs are quantity, not quality

it's a nice pack, but it's already quite some money if u buy it new ...
still the best thing is directly saving up for some technics turntables if you really wanna get into it and don't want to quit the next ten years
and even then, you can still sell'em, and you can still throw with 'em (it's heavy shit
