Please check out my new track 'Ignition Sequence (Finished Version)' and post your comments here!!!

This is the finished or pretty close to be finished piece of this song...its killing it with some tech-step breaks, heavy sub, some nasty melody, and a dark break down...big ups to surya with helping me get some nice samples...there is A LOT of layering with the drums, so levels were hard to keep right... same with the kicks...so deff check this one out, this one WILL please for sure...

Prepare for launch in 3...2...1!!!!!!!

Listening to your tune now, i think little bit of reverb could help to the first synth, so far it has nice sound quality, In drums, you have one shadow beat that is in between of hihats i think it's 8th and 10th beat in 16 if you raise volume of them it will have much better "rolling" of beats. Also decent subbasline may help. Overall it's quite good tune with some potential.

3,1/5

Nice drums. cymbals seem a bit light though. Its a good song but i think their needs to be more stuff going on. (samples, sound effects, etc.)

good work Bigup

Introsynth is quite nice and warm, but still it sounds a bit empry. Add some atmospheric or pad there.

Drums sound crisp and stuff. Nice.

Like the low-fi sounding reece that comes in. A bit empty sounding again though.

Drop: the bassline needs a boost, I didn't hear it until I really went searching for it. And add a sub too. The synth over the reece isn't that good imo, I don't really like it. It sounds like the soundtrack for a movie with dwarves or something...
Reece gets ditched, drums are nice here.

Second breakdown: a bit empty again.

So, you got your drums and structure right, now work on the sounds and melodies! And stuff it a bit more, there's not enough going on, it sounds empty.

2.5/5

Sounds much more polished than the preview!

Cool delay on the lead, those pandelays are much underrated nowadays!!

Hihats may be louder, cymbal softer (and maybe use a different cymbal sound, one that is not pitched up...)

The hollow sound that comes in at 2:08 is superfluous imo, track would be better without it. You could do something nice with it, but the melody is too static.

Bassline is too much in the background.

Buildup can be tighter, the track falls over in parts.

Ok so far the bad news, good news is that it's a very accessible and nice sounding track, with some very good sounds and melodies, cool drums (snare is ok but might not please the more conservative dnb heads)
Drum programming is really cool, but watch out with triggering two snares at the same time, you get phase artifacts.

Voice is well chosen too.
