Don't know about ghent never been to that one ,but I can assure you that antwerp is nice
anderlecht is nice too but the people there are very unfriendly , been there once and not turning back ..

yeah all big skateparks are closed Frown

antwerp skate planet closed (this is such a shame! all ramps are now rotting in the basements of hof ter loo Frown

antwerp really ruled! friendly people good ramps, last time i went there a good streetcourse, and the combination of the mini's with the pool was really wicked, so many variations on jumps and grinds can be done there! IT'S A DAMN SHAME IT CLOSED), area 51 will close soon I read on funbox.nl, ghent closed...

saw the skatepark of lyon 3 weeks ago Shocked

man man man, THAT is a skatepark!!!! would love to go to amsterdam once to ride the 'betonne parke'...

check www.funbox.nl for spot/park reviews, such a shame so many parks closed the last year in belgium... many good (and cheap) parks in holland tho!

friends of mine had to deal with a couple of giant niggaz there, they got lucky cause nodoby wanted to fight ...

but i bet you can and will get ur ass kicked there if u're on your own ...

Sintniklaas is one great skatehall . When I was 14 I did some inline compo's there and now (5y later) I still go there to board . Everything is wooden , floor is smooth , miniramps , halfpipes and vert , excellent streetcourse .

I've heard they only have a half vert against the wall, and that the other part is only 2m or something like that? Or is that somewhere else?

In st niklaas is a half vert agains the wall
been there a lot too
Like the waitress Big Grin

but as a skate park , it kicks major ass
really like the place where you can do that tricks where you fall in the *pluche* tub
very nice

I did a major boardslide on the bar all the way down Big Grin

i don't get it . I am talking about rollerpark 119 and clearly you are too (mush bak) . But what's up with half vert? It has one vert + 3 half pipes and 4 mini half pipes . The vert + 3halfpipes stands at the entrance en mini's at the farest corner . I like that park alot because the floor is very smooth ( only past 9-10 pm it gets slippery ) , you drop from a quarter and you can roll through the park without "afduwen" . Everything is made for boarders , copings , distance , height , ... And cheap 5euro entrance . I know it's easy not to pay there but please pay because the owner had to sell her car to keep the park open . And It's one park in belgium that is very good .

, i go there 1 every 2-3 months because it's 1,5-2hours travalling to there .

the half vert against the wall is at the deep end of the skate park @ the right , @ the left there are all the mini ramps end in the middle the street court Big Grin

and in the middle of everything is the big piramide
it's been while that , i've been there , could have been some changes ...
