at first glance it seems to just be good for music,
but it has some notable featurs i have to say.

to convert a mono into a stereo sound load inside
FL as a sample then re-export.

its also great for prossessing, use any effevt
VST that you can find and use it all on the samples
that you create! you can prossess a sample way
better in FL then in any tipical wave editor.
wave editor's effects can be weak and limited.

perfect sampler:
also do you want to cut out the dead sound on
a sample? to the exact milisecond?
load the wav file into the FL sampler then set
the TRIM nob to the max or to a high amount
to cut out all of the dead sound.
no normalize the dB levels to the perfect level
click the Normalize button inside the FL Sampler.
when your done trimming and normalizing,
click on the little wav shape symbol that is pink,
its at the top right of the sampler,
now use "Save Modified sample as"
and you will save the mastered version.
maybe the demo of FL doesnt have the save moddified sample as option,
but my memory isnt perfect.
(almost but not)

FL has built in EQ and very high sample rate/Hz/bitrate
options if you are some sort of quality freak Big Grin

any questions?

(note that the FL-Studio demo still has wav exporting
inabled so you can use it as a sample builder easily
even if you dont have the dollars to but the full thing)

set sample rate to 44.1 kHz,
and dont render as a 24 kbps mp3 or somthing.

open FL
press f10
click "audio" (it looks like a speeker)
then click on the mixer's sample rate to fix it.

another thing that makes a song sound way off is
the volume being too high.
there is a monitor at the top you can see that shows
volume, dont let it turn red, keep it at half size.

did that help at all ?
if not then tell me more about the problem Smile

It might be one of the demo plugins resets to initial values when trying to export. U have to register some plugins seperately.

that meter is the host output only it will not tell you if you have internal clipping of audio. get a good db meter with RMS readout and set it at the last slot of your master effects chain. the RMS factor in short will till you how much loudness your mix carries regardless of max amplitude most dnb tunes sit at about -12 to -8 db RMS. one thing that makes fruity sound a world better is ditching most of its internal vst's in favor of high quality efx and synths.
