Please check out my new track 'Movimento' and post your comments here!!!

This is a track which I worked on for quiet a while, I got the idea while messing around with the NI B4 and bumped into the sound with which the track begins, a sound that I liked enough to build a track around it. The track is made only with VST’s, using Cubase as a host. All comments are, of course, welcome…

you gotta listen hard but the drum beat is wicked!! mad props for that. Big Grin

the synth is bit overbearing. maybe tone it down a bit.
the break in the middlle is very nicely done and i wasnt really expecting it.
the build up is nice. kinda slower than i like

back to the drum beat i dont really like having to strain my ears for the snare beat but its all good.

4/5

I don't really like that main leadsound you build your track around, dunno why

Drums seem quite nice, but it's hard to hear since they're not loud enough. But from what I could hear they're nice.

Bassline: really deep (goes all the way to 20hz - a bit too deep) and not very hearable. Maybe play it one octave higher? Or EQ it differently so that it is more hearable.

3.24... sounds offbeat here, the melody loop must be offbeat I guess?

Don't like the 4-4 beats, they really don't fit with DnB imo.

The track is quite messy overall, and the structure needs work too (tension - release and such things) although that isn't too bad. The main problem is that the track just can't generate any real intrest. The leadsound isn't that good, and the melodies aren't that superb either...

How long have you been producing? Coz this sounds like you're just starting out.

1.5/5

Me big fan of bizzare DnB. Bigup

But It could be a lot better. for example simulating electric guitar on vst-instr. is always bad news. the techno beat 's cool but the snare's a bit light. after the break you got really cool edited breaks but i think they loose a lot power in the way they're Eq'ed. snare and hats bit too weak. melody s cool too. In the last part the basses are too background too. Maybe ad some sounds to give the impression of a real factory. last snare isnt good (perhaps a lower one or some reverb).
Stay bizzare but produce it. heavy attention to Eq and flow your way to a climax more so you cann build up a nice structure. then it will become a great song.
