Nope, I have NO idear how it works or what it looks like. But I know that if you do your best, you can make some fucking amazing synths with it (like the Super Wave PCool

my dream was to make a synth with 6 0scilators,
each 0sc would have it's own volume envilope,
i would have like 20 or more difforent wav shapes
to choose from,
there would be a master pan, volume, and pitch
as well as a master twin filter (high and low pass)
and a master frequency modulator.
also 3 static generators with their own envilopes
will be within the synth.
to finish it all off i would include a built in reverb,
a reverb is a must!
also if possable a built in master EQ.

but thats only if it all goes acording to plan,
right now i cant get the output of the 6
0scilators to go to the right place.
i can see that making a synth is easier then making
a PC game, (ive made a few simple games only)
but still it will take time to learn.

actualy what do you all think of my synth idea so far?
because if you have any suggestions nows the timeSmile
right before i make it.

i might not be able to make it but some day i probably
will.
how many do you think i would sell if it came on
a disc with 700+ presents ???......
all feed back is apreshiated.

It wouldn't sell since SynthEdit says all synths made with it should be free, doesn't it?

Anyway, your idear sound very nice, but maybe it would be quite CPU heavy? Might be worth a try anyway, hope it works out fine!

http://www.synthedit.com/
get synth edit here^

i never read any lisence agreements,
its shareware,
and i sure as heck dont think that they control
what you make with it.

it can make VSTs, not as many munctions as a VST
made out of pure C++ but still fast and easy.
i never heard any official restrictions on sales of
the instruments that you make with this thing.
did you ?

No, I haven't, but I thought they had such an agreement, like the GNU licence which tells you you can use the code freely, but the product you use it must operate under the GNU licence too, meaning: free and open-source.

But I'll check it.

Synth edit even comes with a nag text option for
unregestered users of the VST that you make,
so i realy think it was ment so you had the option
of sellling your synth.
ive seen people charge money for synth edit synths before,
but they wont tell the public it was made with synth
edit, thats all.

Yeah, but that would be called fraud if I'm right about the licence...
