i know a guy, well more then one person, who
simply hate progressive music.
the one guy also makes music but he sais how
progressive music is too repedative and talentless.

i admit that you willl usualy get tierd of a progressive
song sooner then a normal one, but progressive
music still takes skill to make and can be realy good.

the way that i structure my songs is half way
between progressive and main theme,
it takes some time for the song to get started,
but i try to add alot of variety and main instrument
paturns.

what do you all think of proressive vs main theme ?

(no offence about the title, i just want it to be
provocative so that it will catch interest and get read)

Well, I like progressive when it's well made. A lot of progressive tracks sound like they just go on and on and on and it _seems_ like there's no change, but offcourse there is, but very suptile, making the track somewhat slow, but if done well, this can really work extremely well.
