ah, i finly got my cookies to work again so i can login
to CafePress and this forum as well as others.
ive been here for a while but havent been able to
post till now. before i was just sending e-mail to
each person who made a song that i liked for feed backs. anyways i made these pads for the free samples page and i cant seem to e-mail them to the chronic, i also dont know of how to upload them.
he sent me an e-mail with a ftp link and all that but i
have never used ftp before so maybe ill have to get advice here.

who knows of a good uploader?
i just need to upload some how some were.
then ill start sending up the samples that i made.

im also thinking on making a thread about pad creation and ill include some FL-Studio project files to show how to build a pad from scratch,.... but thats later once i finaly get some sort of uploader thing.

U can do it with ur regular browser actually (well I'm sure u can with IE, not sure about other browsers). Just go to the adress bar & type ftp://ftp.drumnbass.be. Then it should ask for a password. If it doesn't just right-click and choose "log in as" from the popup menu. Then enter the login name and password, something like uploadname@drumnbass.be and *password*. That should do the trick. Once u're there, u can use the ftp page just like a regular folder and copy-paste or drag&drop items in it, and they should be uploaded.

I kinda like FlashFXP
Total Commander has a built in FTP functionality which works very good too

I have used SmartFTP for a long time, but had some problems with uploading folders containing lots of small files, so I am now checking out new programs.
To do the occasional upload SmartFTP is ok, it's very intuitive and easy to use.

I've now installed FileZilla which looks a bit weird but works very well.
