Please check out my new track 'good times' and post your comments here!!!

This is a track I made a few months back. It was made using esx24 sampler, logic, and the esp,es1 and the es2 synths. I had some problemes during the mastering process, but I think it came out alright. let me know what you think.

i thought so

it's good but not "da" shit

Wink

i'd say 3 stars

i think what is missing is a real build up, a breakdown and real structure... it becomes a bit boring after a while...

it needs variation, other sounds , a intro build and drop

* edit *

drums are good

not much of an intro at all...can't really hear too much sub bass (is there any?) ok, there it is (not sure why you waited that long to introduce the sub...)...nice choice of breaks/percussion, they're def. the standout piece of this tune, as they sound really clean and crisp, the production quality was clean overall...as far as the songwriting part of it, it's really simple---maybe a bit TOO simple, to be honest it sounds like something that was just banged out really quick, with no real feeling behind it...maybe after the second drop, add some different atmospherics/background sounds or something to make it stand out from the other transitions...

reviewing while having breakfast Big Grin

I think its quite a comfy happy song but you should've indeed payed more attention to your intro and some freq.settings of certain sounds (like the sub).
Beats are verry playfull and rollin. maybe some higher Roll Eyes sounds, to make it a bit more alive.
nice one!!! Bigup

The hoover in the intro sounds good, but the melodies are way to happy sounding for my taste man.

Drums are quite nice.

The track is a tad overcompressed imo, work on that a bit.

The sound isn't bad, but you need more brilliance to make the track sound crisp.

About the structure: hmmm, it's just that same melody going on all the time, not really intresting bro. OK, you drop it here and there, but you but nothing in instead...

2.25/5
