I know it's a bit against the drumnbass.be-policy, but i'm gonna put a link in here to a new tune i made. When the uploadpage here is back to full capacity, i'm defo gonna post/upload it here as well, but now that thechronic's basement has turned itself into a gigantic swimmingpool for ants, mice and other cellar-inhabitants,.... i'm afraid i just can't hold it anymore. Must....post......tune.... arrrghhh....

The tune is called The Fishmonger, i saw "Big Fish" by Tim Burton a while ago (what a movie!!! 
) and the concept of a mythical/mystical fish impossible to catch, sort of tickled my imagination.

Please check out my new track 'Fishmonger' and post your comments here!!!
After watching 'Big Fish' by Tim Burton, I automaticaly incorporated the idea of a mythical and mystical fish that's never to be caught, in a track I had just started to work on. I loved the idea of a man, the fishmonger in this case, spending his entire life trying to get closer to, or to at least understand this animal that remains in it's safe environment, giving it's ability to come very close and then within the wink of an eye, to swim off again.
And somehow this relation reminded me of the male - female problematics... :P
I used Reason 2.5 and the Dynasone-compressor-mastering-tool.
I hope it sounds a bit ok, cuz i only have headphones for the moment...

Seems that the untaimed inspiration of tim burton strikes you good.
I like this tune,
it goes from quite basic to really experimental,
starts like the intro of a movie, cool fx, drums sound dull but cool! good amen cut.
but when you actually start the tune, i think the drums lack a bit power in the mid range.
maybe try to master your drums, your bassline and your sounds with a different setting.
overal sound is good!!
it like the sudden twist in the tune. the experimental melody, this should work on a floor.
strong tune that shows personality.

got some cool spacy, psychadelic sounds in here...great for the feeling you had intended on, nice job on that...but the drum edits are sloppy in a few places, and the mixdown could be redone (about halfway thru, the drums start to sound like they've been pushed all the way to the back, and all those techy basses are fighting each other for position...other than that it's a pretty interesting tune to say the least...

this isnt just psychotic but it is the whole wing of a mental institution.
Like the experimental approach but some times it sounds a bit messy using the jungle loops! bass and synths are really freaky !
I also think that its rather difficult to nicely Eq jungle loops for they sound always a bit dull and old. some say its the charm of them, i think they should link up (eq'ed) with the basic beat. I like it a lot but i 've a feeling somethings missing at the end.

Nice intro
Chech your bell-sample though, it's got a VERY irritating frequencey around 15khz in it, which really hurts my ears! Use a lowpass filter or something. And get decent speakers, coz then you would have noticed this 
Good drums, nice switching with the tramen. The tramensample you used seems to be overcompressed a bit, but it's not that bad.
Good switching to the amen too. Quite good editing indeed.
Bass is pumping, but could use a boost.
The techy basses are very cool.
Dark and a tad experimental... really your style 
Levels could be done a bit better. Some stuff needs to be a bit more up front, other stuff is a bit too loud.
Twisted melodies coming in
Cool.
Seems like ther's soo much stuff in thisone, really good work on keeping it intresting!
4/5 for the tune, 3/5 for the mastering

Like the old skool drums at the beginning of the tune
they sound kinda familiar though, you mind telling me where they're from?
break is indeed a bit sloppy at times
atmos is pretty cool!
Melodies at 2:30 and 04:20 are a bit all over the place, don't really like that...
keep it up!
