The duo of Jay & Alex defined the easy-rolling two-step of Moving Shadow Rec. during the late '90s with their recordings as
E-Z Rollers, after developing hardcore breakbeats earlier in the decade as JMJ Richie and Hyper On Experience. They did 3 LP's on
Moving Shadow and started up their own Intercom Rec. in '98 on which they released the Lickable Beats serie. This year they started
'New Skool Blazers' bringing new talents. Watch out for the mix-CD including the best tracks of the serie mixed by the E-Z Rollers!
DISTORTED MINDS /uk
Jon Midwinter and Alistair Vickery are responsible for releases on DJ SS Formation Records and Adam F & Fresh's imprint Breakbeat
Kaos. 'T-10' is certainly their biggest tune so far (with remixes of Dillinja and Clipz) but they also did that explosive remix of E-Z Rollers
'Crowd Rocker' on Intercom last year. DM are defenitely one of the best ambassadors of the new-skool jump up madness.
DJ SYSTEM-D & MC JAMALSKI /b /us
DJ System-D & MC Jamalski met in 2002 and decided to work together. MC Jamalski (NYC) has done 3 ragga/hiphop LP's in the 90s
and collaborated with Krs-1, Brand New Heavies, Dee-Lite. He has been crowned the number one stateside Jungle/Drum & Bass MC,
seen performing with Aphrodite, JJ. Frost, Andy C, Hype, Dylan, Dieselboy, DJ Dara to name a few. System-D has just remixed two tracks for the new Jamalskis LP. Also watch out for their new 12 on Intercom!

Woodcarvers starting point can be set at the time he started playing for BTS (Break The Silence - Brussels). January 2002 he managed to get his own radio show on FM band every Friday on FM Brussels. The biggest step in Woodcarvers career though, is the foundation of ORKA in 2002. Together with soulmates Sike & Easy he therefore founded ORKA with which he promotes the more soulful and funk driven drum&bass throughout Belgium by inviting national and international quality djs.

Founder of the well known Warner Bass parties in Liege, DJ Baz also played at Fuse (Bass Boogie), Festivibe, Electric Science, Dali's Bar,...
He plays now alongside the young talented female MC called Divine...
