Hehe
I just saw Das Experiment, damn what a freaky movie! I already saw it in the cinema but seeing it a second time it's still got me speechless. I even searched for some documentation on the real life experiment
http://www.prisonexp.org/
http://www.stanford.edu/dept/news/relage...8prisonexp.html
Interesting to compare the real experiment to the movie and I can very well imagine that the real experiment could turn as bad as the movie if it was allowed to continue for the full two weeks...

Saw "De zaak Alzheimer" yesterday - it seems like belgian movies are getting better and better... First "Any way the wind blows", now this.. Only "Team Spirit 2" will screw up this trend
Bah...
Also saw American Pie 3 - good for a short laugh, but yeah - not really a big movie you have to see in the cinema.
I couldn't go to the movies the last 3/4 weeks (work) so now I still have to catch up a bit
The list I still have to see...
- Matchstick Men (very good it seems)
- Bad boys 2 (well - should be fun to watch I hope)
- Underworld (only heard good comments of it)
- Mystic River (also very good they tell me)
- Identity
- City by the sea
- Confidence

Saw pirates of the Carribean(?) a bit ago. Was quite good, as i was pleasantly surprised. But that's about it, apart from Finding Nemo, which was also quite good. However i would like to point out that this thread, although not started by me, was started to list your top 5 not everything that you see. However i think someone should start a thread about that shit, cause i can find out what movies to watch!
FUCK IT, ignore everything i said!, i shouldn't have posted this, but it seemed a waste of effort deleting it.

Well - actually - you're right... But top 5 movies - that's impossible for me - there are more than 5 good movies, and new-ones are made every week or even day (not always that good though :p )

Saw these on the filmfestival the last two days:
- Little Girl Blue: nice but a bit predicatble and the actors felt like it was their first time. Got better as the movie went on tho. 7/10
- Tipping the Velvet: Great adaption of the book by Sarah Waters. Enjoyed it very much (as did me girlfriend) and gonna look out for it when it comes on DVD. 9/10
- Zero Day: Inspired by the Columbine sotory, filmed in a Blair Witch way (actors film themselves with videocam). Very good at showing what the problem is with these guys. 9/10.
- Little Angels: About the drug problem in England. Heroin addics play themselves (as does their family) and show how they fight addiction by going to prison. Too bad the story wasn't brought as powerfull as it might have been. 7/10
- Kopps: Sweedish movie about cops who's station is being closed down, coz there is simply no crime. They decide to do something about that. Some nice jokes, but overdone due to big buget (would have been better without the unfunny SFX sequences). 6/10

I saw 'De Zaak Alzheimer' too last week and it was really an OK film, nothing that bothered me about it as in most Belgian films, natural acting and nice thrilling story

Which version of Leon did you see? The original (over 2 hours) or the US cut (about 1h42)? The original is far better, and adds more depth to the story.
If you don't remember the playingtime: did it get explained why Leon suddenly wakes up in a bed instead of in a chair?
