Princess Mononoke - Absoloutely stunning Japanese anime, I was a bit skeptical at first but I couldnt have been more suprised. It was one of the films for ages to blow me away. This film is amazing, great animation and great story that goes deeper than just what you see on the surface. Better than most live action movies imo!
Lucky Number Slevin - Saw this at the cinema, it was quite entertaining I suppose for a Friday night after going to the pub but it's probably not one i'd watch again. There was a fairly cool twist, but I didnt think it was executed particularly well, it was kind of in the last 10 mins - its catch up time! lets show you all the bits you didnt work out really quickly.....no subtely, nothing left to the imagination... no reason to rewatch it!
Man Bites Dog: Im not even gonna say anything about this one - other than its a superb movie and a very black comedy! Im sure most of you have seen it....

just seen oldboy.....how good is this film. but i also had to endure the shite that is creep as well. lord of war was a bit dissapointing, nicholas cage should be shot for crimes against acting,but the excorcism of emily rose was suprisingly better than i thought it would be, some good spoken samples in it to. still, none of them quite live up to the classic that is bad taste.

oldboy is amazing movie, i loved every second of it! haven't seen the others though. Cage seems to be one of those actors who seems to be either very good or very bad....

Recent movies I saw and liked
- Kiss Kiss Bang Bang: hilarious!
- The Squid and the Whale: thisone is proof that the USA can produce decent drama/comedy movies without getting cheesy. OK, having a 11-year old boy say and do such dirty things isn't something I see Hollywood do very soon. Unfortunatly.

Alien 1-3 right up the alley. legendary movies imo. the 4th sequel was a bit of a letdown.. but nothing compared to the AVP which totally sucked ass

you really have to follow the movie...
once you missed a few sentences the story is getting blury...
and I'm pretty sure that a lot of people just don't understand the movie!
