guess it was the US-cut then.. saw this movie like 5 times already (rented @ videoland) and this time it idd felt like some things were missing, the story felt like it evolved much faster and less deep compared to the other times i saw it.
plus seen it was on vt4, and seen the ads every 30 minutes... lol
anyway! I still enjoyed it one verrry much!

Crouching Tiger is by far the best martial arts movie I have seen. Not that I am an expert, but I've seen quite some. Bought it on DVD, that should say enough

Al Pachino is just great in that movie (he's just always great, that's why he's one of me favorites!)
Anyway, just saw Gandhi again. Powerfull movie and superb acting. Worth the Oscars it got!

Plain wicked - already saw it twice (saturday and yesterday)
It's so violent that it becomes funny - so exagerrated, shocking and absurd sometimes - typical Tarantino style - I like it
One of the scenes reminded me of that one scene in American history X with the teeth on the street-border - but here it seemed to go on forever. I''m prolly gona see that yet another time

I'm going saturday to see Kill Bill. But also to see the superb Alien DC, Dirty Pretty Things and Mystic River
(last one is one of the best of the year I've heard).
Saw Intollerable Cruelty yesterday, and it was really funny!

I'm definitely going to see Kill Bill, but don't know if I'll have the time to see more films the coming 2 weeks.
I did see 'Down With Love' last week and it was better than I expected, not a class movie, but great entertainment and a funny parody of the emancipation and the sixties. Nice furniture too

/me pumps RZA - Ode to Oren Ishii thru his speakers!
hell fucking hell yeah! it was so fucking delicious! not even too violent imo! gonna rewatch this one for sure!!
only downer.. which could make this a bad movie tho! the dialgs were too kitsh imo... Guess that was tarantino's whole point...
the end was really bitchass! 'don't stop don't stop now!' was playing tru my head the whole time! dammit can't wait till part 2!
and that soundtrack
daaaaaamn mad respect to the RZA! he made have every scene have it's own feel! dammit... that guy know what to sample and where to apply! The sound of Oren Ihii's father's teeth breaking in the piece of anime was soooo fucking bad! it went tru my whole body and mind almost inbearable!.. far beyond the teeth-breaking scene in 'american history X' for sure!
every note every sound every track was putted in place so damn sweet!
damn i'm still excited!! gonna go out now shaolin style!

Liked Kill Bill, but I found it hard too judge on how good it actually is, since it's only a half movie.
Saw Dirty Pretty Things too, and liked it at least as much as Kill Bill

@Surya - Mystic River is indeed a very good movie - I wouldn't call it the best of the year - but I was surprised of it (the name Clint Eastwood didn't make me expect a good movie - not really a fan
). It's not the classical american movie with the nice and happy ending - which takes a lot of courage to make such a movie - especially if you have an american public.

Saw The Matrix Revolutions the other day, and boy was I dissapointed! And didn't even have high expectations. It was just an ordinary shoot, run and scream movie like we've seen a dozen times before. Almost no kung-fu, great fights (the one at the end had precisely ONE cool shot) or spectacular cameramovements.
The Matrix: 10/10
Matrix Reloaded: 8/10
The Matrix Revolutions: 6/10
