- Adult: Baise Moi
- Animation: The Lion King
- Anime: Spirited Away
- Comedy: Snatch/Three Kings
- Crime: Casino
- Documentary: Bowling for Columbine
- Drama: American Beauty/American History X/Requiem for a Dream
- Family: Willow
- Fantasy: The Two Towers
- Film Noir: The Man Who Wasn't There
- Horror (don't really like that genre): The Exorcist
- Martial Arts: Wo Hu Cang Long (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon)
- Musical: Moulin Rouge!
- Mystery: JFK
- Pepulum: Gladiator
- Romance: Moulin Rouge!
- Shi-Fi: The Matrix
- Thriller: The Insider
- War: Das Boot/Black Hawk Down/Full Metal Jacket
- Western (don't like this at all!): Back to the Future Part III (haven't seen that much, I know it isn't really good Big Grin

Anyone seen ' Irreversible' ?

Damn this one was hard

They played this movie actually in kinepolis and it was real funny seeing about 75% of the crowd leaving the room after just 15 minutes...

Anyway...one of those movies wich makes you think...

I'm talking about the uncut version tho (more than 2h) coz the cut version (the one available in Belgium, cut for 30 minutes Shocked

) is , altho still good, not that exellent anymore. Looses a lot 'diepgang'

Extremely desorienting in the beginning :nausy:

But really good. Much more than just an 'in your face' rape movie. And Cassel is exellent as always!

I like all kind of movies, as long as they take themselves for what they are. So stupid but funny movies (American Pie, anyone?) that know they are stupid are nice too imo. I don't pretend to be some movie critic who dishes everything that isn't arty or intellectual... but I like that too Big Grin
