Nice vibe. Interesting arrangement with the drums, works! Snare needs to be much brighter in the mix but as you say you haven't eq'd yet mate 
Like the bass.. Got a Garage feel to it man.. funky. Could really imagine a vocal on this tune, its empty enough for one to fit (in a good way). Nice reverb on the synth.
Definitely expand the synth work on the second breakdown imo.. My brain is just hearin a vocal line in there somewhere?
A additional percussion line over the beats would keep things fresh. Runnin a few bards with the drums and no bass would also keep it all tight.

Like the vibe in this one, yummy.
The part where no strings are played sounds a bit too mono though.
@Glim, we know you can sing from previous stuff you posted. Why not try and make a vocal for this one?

I'd be more than happy to do some vocals. I can think of a few melodies to work with it. Imagine a minimalistic feel with some heavy delay and reverb with some edits here n there. At a guess the subject could be based loosely on weather - cold, maybe making a journey through icy snow mountains or something. Sort've like the music video to Porter Robinson - Language?
Going off at a tangent now.. The more I listen to the track the more I think lyrics could fit with it.
But lyrics can be quite a personal thing and writing good ones takes years of practice, otherwise they can sound very pretentious and self obsessed. Everyone interprets them differently and most I hear anyway don't grab my attention, not in chart music but hey, any decent self respecting person on here doesn't listen to that mainstream rubbish anyway!

Sounds good to me glim nice to know people are liking the style. Feel free to throw some ideas at me. I haven't had anymore time to do anything with this track yet as I've been at work 24 7 for the last few weeks but will deffo get back to it as soon as I get a night free.

This is freaking big tune !
After strings there are a plucks , it would be great if they skip form ear to ear sometimes, I personally like these variations , they tripping me out !
Next thing is that it needs more background and variety in my opinion , of course if you like to stay minimal it's good but i feel that is something more to get from it .
Bass is very big , feel like surrounding me from each side

Thanks for all the great comments and feedback. Will be taking a lot of the advice given and using it in the finish tune which will be put my 4 track ep which I will be giving away very soon late 2012/ early 2013

Very nice tune dude.
The plucked melody sounds a tiny bit harsh to my ears, could maybe do with softening a smidge, but it all sounds bloody marvelous seeing as you still havent done the EQ'ing lol...

Cheers m.o.a.b thats a big help thanks for pointing that out. I thought that myself but Nobody brought it up untill now. But deffo going to make it sound as smooth as I can.
Thanks again everybody for your help and support. It means a lot to get some great feedback after trying but failing to make great music for so long. Hopefully this ep will give me a chance to show off what I can do and aslong as people like the music i make ill keep pushing
