I'd like to help you, but i think i need a bit more detailed version of your question...
What do you mean by 'put everything in one track'? Like bouncing? Easy: click menu 'File' and then 'Export loop as audiofile' or 'Export song as audiofile'. If you take the 'Export loop as audiofile', make sure the placement of the L/R markers is as you desire.
If you take the 'Export song as audiofile', the whole shebang will be saved up to the E-marker.

Do you want to merge several files into one? Or do you mean how you should fit several elements such as bass, drums, melody into 1 fitting piece? If it's the last one, I think every producer has that problem once in a while.

You pm'ed me on this one and i think after a while you had a better understanding of the whole reutemeteut. But to com back on your original question: 'how to merge several tracks in one': check my first reply.
It's all in there.
Fiddle dem knoobs, man. It's meant to be played, used and abused.

i hope his problem is solved now
backed the man up Smile

the problem was that he couldn't find a way to copy his paterns to the sequencer lanes, to actually build a song.

plus again a little tip: make sure you keep at least 1 patern block as a blanco ...

cuz when you press play, reason plays the sequence but aswell your devices, so if you build a melody in patern 1, it will probably be audible OVER your sequence.

good luck nevertheless. reason is a beauty to work in!

Boy, he sure did get a lot of back-up...

Yup. It's a matter of taste and working-habits, but screw dem patterns. Nothing but dazzling-yellow-pseudo-logic-and-for-the-sake-of-integrated-basic -literature- in-musicsoftware annoyances!! Big Grin
Work visually: draw your blocks, make groups out of 'm and arrange them.

reason has it's reasons (ooohw, how cheesy!!)

true, i aswell hardly work with those paterns. maybe a single few to make a bouncy bassline or something...

i prefer working directly in the sequencer... but hey... you can walk different roads to reach your goal no?
