anyone got any advise or experience on mac mini's with logic, ive never used logic or plugins before so dont know how demanding they are. im using a old ish laptop with reason 5 but always wanted to go with logic and a mac. Now i know im going to need more than the 2gb of ram im used to working with on in my laptop and understand that putting 16gb of ram in a mac should sort most of the problems with plugin's running right but to go with the i5 or i7 quad is lost on me is the i7 worth the extra money if im not using it for all its worth? or will i be? then we have the i5's 2.3ghz or 2.5ghz dual core's. i used to build pc's a few years ago with watercooling and quad core processors overclocked to 4 - 4.5ghz. which blew me away with the speed but havent been as much as a geek over the last few years so never tried any of the i core range. any advise would be really helpful thanks david
