I had to take the sample packs offline for a while, due to the increased popularity of the site this was eating away all the bandwidth...

We got less than 1GB to spare for the rest of the month, hope it will be enough and the site won't go down Frown

I'll have to increase the bandwidth if this trend keeps continuing, but that's quite expensive...

Look at the attached picture to see how much of the site's traffic is caused by the sample packs (they're the 'zip'-files) Shocked

Can I put the samples on my Pandora-webspace for the time being? Or will pandora kick me for the amount of traffic they'll generate?

I haven't heard anything about limits for the Pandora webspace. I guess they don't think it's needed, since you can't use it for huge amounts of data (only 50MB) and not for commercial sites...

No the site was really down when I checked it, so I increased the bandwidth limit beyond the amount I get each month... The bandwidth is shared with 3 other sites, so if this one goes down the others will too Shocked

It's the 26th now, so if the site goes down right now it will only be for 4 days and 2 hours, surely you can survive that Wink

Next month the sample packs will return in a new way that does not eat so much bandwidth and will cause more people to check the site more often Cool
