Please check out my new track 'Whatstep?' and post your comments here!
Hey guys long time! I've acquired a new Mac Pro and Logic, so I've been tucked away learning the damn thing. But this is my first track in this 'new chapter'. Haven't mastered it yet, just a straight bounce from Logic. Bit darker than my usual but I hop you enjoy it. MUCH LOVE

not a bad track at all... looks like youve found the right tool for your style cos this sounds pretty high quality. One massive problem i have with this tho is the snare. try widening the high end of it and leave the low end centred and maybe boost the low end too. as it is its just not punching through and sounds too far 'back' in the mix. lovin the dubstep part, thats quality but again, the snare is buggin me. huge fan of the basses youve used here though, especially love these guitar-like basses. big up

Love the title man, and whats not to love about the tune! this is super tight, mix is spot on love the bass work on this and its so clean.
you know i like more low end snares but its personal taste. i know everyone is gonna be loving the dubstep section its genius!
Nice transitions super tight, i think you found you tool for production, no looking back now mane!

Thanks for the feedback man,i was trying out a new plug called center to try and make the snare more present but looks like it backfired!

Pretty sick, great job on the bass melody. Drumstep is not my cup of tea but it's a quality production. I agree with subkinetik for the snare. It doesn't sound powerful enough. Good track!

GREAT TRACK. ON THE LAST DROP BEFORE IT CUTS OUT IT WOULD SOUND AWESOME IF IT CRACKED OFF INTO DRUM N BASS. NOT SURE WHAT TEMPO YOU HAVE IT AT. NICE MIDS AND MELODIES. BAD AS BREAK DOWN.

Damn,
dunno if it is the Apple thing that gave you a boost but this is huge.
Some points that need love: The stereo is often a bit too wide. The mids could use some clarity and a little boost.
Love the lead: it reminds me of my old Commodore 64.
With some good mastering this track sounds like something you'd want to get into the attention of some labels.
