Reminiscence Audio - Digital Label
Reminiscence Audio is a independent Drum & Bass digital record label based in Belgrade.
Aim of the operation is to release interesting innovative deep bass sounds and atmospheres.
The label was created as an idea of societal collective of creative people and with their energy, commitment and contribution in any way, are trying to help disseminate the idea of unity, which is an essential part of drum and bass culture from the beginning.

jungletrain.net is very pleased to welcome Breaksta back to the station! His return is accompanied by the other members of the Reminiscence Audio label crew - namely DJs Kicbea and Shonze - to co-host the new bi-weekly show. Tune in every other Sunday 14:00-16:00 CET[/b] for the [b]'The Reminiscence Show'
Breaksta had his first contact with the jungle/dnb culture in 1996 when he was given several CDs from a friend, among them 4 Hero's seminal album "Parallel Universe" which immeasurably changed and influenced his view of the music world. Soon he discovered the Logical Progression and Progression Sessions series via Good Looking Records, and these labels came to define his taste for drum & bass music. Breaksta's style as a DJ is not limited to certain sub-genres, but he is committed to the preservation of dnb's original essence in his musical selection. His first live gigs were at parties organized by veterans of the Serbian scene, the Codex organisation, which allowed him to network and perform alongside most local DJ's. In addition to his love for jungle/dnb, Breaksta remains immersed in the roots of that sound through funk, soul, jazz, reggae, dub, hiphop and more contemporary styles including broken beat, nu jazz and various styles of bass music.
Kicbea has run two radio shows in Serbia from 2009 to the present - 'Euphoric Show' and 'To The Moon And Back' - which are dedicated to showcasing the deeper sounds in drum & bass music. In addition to DJ'ing, Kicbea has released his own productions on labels such as Basswerk, Point Audio and Offworld Recordings, including collaborations with like-minded artists LM1, Atmodisiac, Molecular Structures, ProZoo, Opuscape.
Shonze has been playing electric guitar with various bands in many Belgrade clubs since 2004. He and Kicbea started collecting records together in 2008 and subsequently began playing together at parties and on radio. In 2011 they started a radio show called `Don't Look Back`- also dedicated to drum and bass culture - on a local independent online radio station. Immediately afterwards they teamed up with Breaksta to establish their own record label `Reminiscence Audio`. With this imprint they aim to spread the idea of a certain atmospheric approach to the production, and to connect young and upcoming producers that share a love for this particular style of drum & bass music.
