OK I've had it with all this cracked software crap. Fine by me if you want to use cracks but don't post about it here!! We all know about Kazaa, Hotline etc and everybody knows how to use it so if you really want to boast about how great you are by finding cracks do it in other forums or in PMs. I mean a 10 year old child can find cracked software!
I think it's an ethical question, most of this software is incredibly cheap for what you're getting. When I started out making music I had to buy synthesizers because there was no software like this in those days. My first synth costed 1800 euro, and I have spent more than 20000 euro in total on buying gear over a couple of years.
You can get all of that now for a couple hundred euro, so fucking BUY the software if you want to use it. If you don't you're stealing.
I mean for fucks sake the full version of fruity loops costs 150 euro with smaller versions available from 50 euro and up.
150 euro: that's only 3 days working! You spend that amount of cash easily on a couple of parties or 4 weeks of sigarette smoking, a couple grams of weed and lots of other stuff without even noticing it. Instead you can get the software legally with all the manuals and support and make music with it for the rest of your life!
I understand that most of you are still in school or unemployed or something, OK fine if you can't afford it but don't go around boasting that you have it, you guys should be ashamed of that. I mean look at Surya, he's making great tracks with Buzz, and that software is FREE!!
And I wonder... if you guys end up releasing tracks and earning money with it, how can you do that on the back of software companies whose software you have stolen??
