The new track of Protesta and Mr Jo at harmonica, members of the FWF Crew, somewhere between ragga, drum'n'bass and (oldschool) hardcore...

Hmmm, a bit too much hi end. Don't try to make it sound TOO crisp huh Wink

Quite nice drums.
Kick could use a bit more body though.

Sounds you used aren't really my thing (vintage basslines and stuff)... Quite well done and all, but I just don't like it that much...

Melodies are nice though.

Seems like you have some problem with your delay or something. Sometimes your melodies become too loud, and it sounded too me like it was due too your delay.

Structure: needs a bit of work. Like: intro, drop, body, breakdown, body, outtro. You can have A LOT of variations withing this structure, but it gives your track the feel of a real, well thought of track (if done well offcourse). Now it sounds a bit unstructured, don't really know why.

2.75/5

The intro is very loop-ish, if you know what i mean.. Cool , sounds almost awfully automated-robot-like, don't like it too much, because you have a nice live feel looking at your complete track, maybe you should stick to one 'feel'.
Previews of drums (amen) are real nice.
Main drums + melodica is very sweet... Nice atmosphere. Like it alot.
Double-bass has a nice line, but it could use some 'grain'/stamina, make it fatter, maestro.
The techno-like 16th hihats, mmmhh, not kinda my style, my humble suggestion is: fool around with the quantizer button. I think this straight beat vs world music do not fit together too well.
The delay-mashup-rewind-thing! Bwoi! 8-bit frenzy! Came in unexpected, but my guess is that you just happen to like things to be mashed up...

But i lke this crossover style of music a lot, should work well on the dancefloor, i guess.
Good job.
