Please check out my new track 'Smother' and post your comments here!

Hey. This one needs a lot of work. I've been trying to master it over the past few days but sadly making little progress Frown I've been getting pretty frustrated with this one, the sounds are really clashing (i think...).
Anyone with advice on the mastering or just the song in general? am i missing something obvious? your help will be greatly appreciated.
Also, i know there are a few parts that don't "flow" very well with the rest of the song (they should be obvious) and i'm planning on changing those. for now i'd like to focus on mastering

thanks Smile

It's muddy, but otherwise really good.
The mix isn't all that bad.
lower the 250-800 range on your bass.
Some stereo on the 1kHz and up from your bass would be good.
Starts and stops break the flow, use some different basses here and there to get more variation.

Thanks for the advice. I added some stereo like you said, sounds so much better! This song sounds rather huge when I listen on my krk rokit 5's, but when I play it on any other speakers, it doesn't sound so good... :/
